Coco’s runs at two speeds. Through the day it is a beach club, with restaurant, bar and service out onto the sand, and the pace of a place where nobody has anywhere to be. After dark it turns into one of the busier rooms in town. The rooftop is the reason to time your arrival: it looks out over the whole bay and is about the best sundowner position in Sayulita, which means it is not a secret and the good seats go early. Work out which of the two Coco’s you want before you commit to the evening.
Note: This one runs as a beach club rather than a walk-up bar. Expect a day pass, a minimum spend, or both. Worth knowing before you wander in barefoot expecting a bar stool.
