These terms apply to all visitors, readers, and anyone else who wanders in from a Google search at 11pm wondering if a particular beach bar has frozen drinks.

You may use this site for its intended purpose: finding excellent beach bars, reading reviews, and planning your next vacation around said beach bars. Reasonable, we think.

All reviews, writing, photography, and other original content on bestbeachbars.com is owned by us unless stated otherwise. We’ve put genuine effort into it — well, genuine-ish effort, given that it mostly involves drinking at the beach.
You’re welcome to share links to our content. You’re not welcome to copy and paste our reviews onto your own site and pretend you wrote them. We will notice. We have a lot of free time.

Our reviews reflect our honest opinions at the time of the visit. Bars change. Menus change. Staff change. That bartender who made a legendary rum punch may have moved on to pursue their true calling. We cannot be held responsible for changes that occur after our visit.
Some listings on the site have not been personally reviewed and are marked accordingly. We include them for completeness, not as endorsements. Think of them as “places we’ve heard of and plan to investigate.”
Nothing on this site constitutes professional advice of any kind. If you make a significant life decision based on a beach bar review, we are flattered but concerned.
