Mantamar is the adults only, LGBTQ+ beach club anchoring the far end of Los Muertos, and its signature is a floating pool set at the edge of the sand. Cabanas, four poster beds, a swim up bar and DJs on rotation. It runs more spacious and more expensive than the clubs further along the same beach, and the service is the part regulars talk about. The white sand and pale water at that end of the bay are the best on the beach, which is not an accident of where they built. This is a booked day rather than a wandered into afternoon.
Note: This one runs as a beach club rather than a walk-up bar. Expect a day pass, a minimum spend, or both. Worth knowing before you wander in barefoot expecting a bar stool.
