Cuates y Cuetes puts actual tables in actual sand at the south end of Los Muertos, with the pier in view and the sunset lined up where you want it. Live music starts at eight, every night of the week, which is a harder commitment than most beach bars make and the reason the place fills up around dinner. The sand tables are the ones worth having, so either reserve or turn up early and accept that you are eating at five. Seafood dominates the menu. It works as a long dinner and it works better as the place you go at seven to watch the light go and stay for the band.
