In the tiny, remote waterman community of Saxis on Virginia’s Tangier Sound shore (one of the most isolated and authentic waterfront villages on the entire Eastern Shore), Capt. E’s Hurricane Grill brings tiki bar energy and cold cocktails to a community where the crab pots and workboats are still the primary industry. Getting to Saxis is part of the experience; having a cold tropical drink at the end of the drive is the reward.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Capt. E’s Hurricane Grill and Tiki Bar yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
