SandBar sits on Manasota Key a short walk from Englewood Beach, close enough that sandy feet are the standard dress code. The tiki bar handles happy hour and to-go drinks while the kitchen turns out shrimp fritters served in a sand bucket, blackened shrimp, and a brisket reuben that regulars order without consulting the menu. The place was rebuilt after hurricane damage, and the new layout traded some of the old outdoor sprawl and easy parking for a tighter, more polished footprint. Live music most days, and the walk back to the sand runs about two minutes.
