On Dona Bay in Nokomis, Nokomo’s Sunset Hut is a two-level waterfront tiki bar that has built one of Southwest Florida’s most devoted followings on the strength of spectacular sunsets, Caribbean-influenced food, and a massive cocktail menu that makes choosing difficult in the best possible way. The mahi tacos, ahi tuna in multiple forms, lobster roll, and award-contending clam chowder anchor the food side; nightly live music starting around 5:30 PM provides the soundtrack. Accessible by boat with dock parking. Get there before the crowd: the Adirondack chairs along the water while you wait are part of the experience.
