The other half of Surfside Beach. Reflexions sits on the far side of Plaza Turismo from its scruffier neighbor and takes a completely different approach: a swimming pool set into the sand, cabanas you can rent by the day, and a menu several rungs above the usual beach-bar burger. It is still a beach bar, in that the Caribbean is immediately in front of you and shoes are optional, but the cocktails arrive properly built and the loungers are the good kind. Handy location too, less than a mile from the cruise terminal and minutes from the airport, with no rental car required from downtown. Come for the day, claim a cabana, and do not move. The sunsets off this stretch are the same ones Palm Beach charges more for.
