La Perla has been the busiest palapa on Playa La Ropa long enough that regulars warn you about it in the same sentence they recommend it. Grilled seafood, margaritas, and the best run of lounge chairs on the beach, all of it packed and noisy by early afternoon. If you want quiet, walk down the sand to one of the smaller places. If you want the beach at full volume with a drink arriving without being asked, this is the address. The water in front is calm enough to actually swim in, which on Mexico’s Pacific coast is worth more than it sounds.
