On the Susquehanna River in Port Deposit — one of the most dramatically situated small towns on the entire East Coast, built into the granite bluffs where the Susquehanna squeezes through before opening into the Bay — Lee’s Landing is a dock bar with a setting that has no equal. Cold beer, steamed crabs in season, and the narrow river views between the bluffs create one of the Bay’s most distinctive drinking experiences. The town of Port Deposit is worth visiting for the scenery alone; the dock bar makes it worth staying.
