Santa Teresa’s legendary live music bar since 2008: on Thursday nights, the entire town flocks here for the live rock and reggae band and an atmosphere that’s wild, pure fun for all ages. Steps from the beach in the heart of Santa Teresa, Kika has earned its reputation as the best bar in town for live music and the place everyone eventually ends up. Also great for food and cocktails.

Worth pairing with the rest of beach bars up and down Costa Rica.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Kika Bar & Restaurant yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
