The Palace has been an LGBTQ+ icon on Ocean Drive since the late 1980s and shows no sign of slowing down. At 1052 Ocean Drive, this is the bar that invented the art of sidewalk drag: the famous outdoor drag shows that spill onto the street draw crowds of admirers (and dollars) that stretch half a block. The rooftop pool adds an upscale dimension, Sunday brunch with bottomless mimosas has achieved legendary status in Miami, and the overall energy (celebratory, inclusive, and completely Miami) is unlike anywhere else on the strip. Every queen needs a palace. This one’s been on Ocean Drive for over 35 years.
