On the legendary Chuckanut Drive in Bow (one of the most scenic drives in the Pacific Northwest, hugging the sandstone bluffs above Samish Bay with the San Juan Islands visible across the water), the Oyster Bar has been serving Samish Bay oysters harvested from the farm below the restaurant alongside cold Pacific Northwest wines and craft beers since 1984. The restaurant and bar hang on the cliff face above the bay; the oysters come up from the water below; and the combination of extraordinary setting, farm-direct shellfish, and the Pacific Northwest wine program makes this one of the most distinctive and most celebrated dining experiences in Washington State.
