A fun, spirited beach bar in Cardiff-by-the-Sea bringing a playful nautical energy to the San Diego County coast with creative cocktails, fresh seafood, and the easy-going surf town character of one of North County San Diego’s most beloved beach communities. The mythical sea monster theme is embraced with a wink; the cocktails are genuinely creative; and the whole operation captures the Cardiff community’s particular combination of laid-back surf culture and quality-forward sensibility.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to The Kraken yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
