Home of the legendary Killer Bee cocktail (the drink that has made Nevis’s Pinney’s Beach famous among cocktail travelers across the Caribbean), Sunshine’s is one of the most celebrated small beach bars in the Eastern Caribbean. Sunshine himself (Llewellyn Daniel) has been mixing his legendary rum cocktails on Pinney’s Beach since 1989, and the combination of the Killer Bee’s potency, the extraordinary Nevis Peak backdrop, and Sunshine’s irrepressible personality has made this one of the Caribbean’s essential stops.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Sunshine’s Beach Lounge yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
