A beloved craft brewery in Douglas on the Kalamazoo River just south of Saugatuck (one of the most charming and most artistically vibrant beach communities on the entire Lake Michigan shore), Saugatuck Brewing delivers award-winning Michigan craft ales, IPAs, and lagers with the warm, creative, community-centered character that the Saugatuck-Douglas arts community generates so naturally. The Oval Beach sand dunes, the Kalamazoo River, and the extraordinary southwestern Michigan beach culture surround every pint of Saugatuck IPA poured here.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Saugatuck Brewing Company yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
