The Sandbar is the easy, uncomplicated Nantucket beach bar: cold drinks, lobster rolls, the Sound right there, and the particular Nantucket sunshine that makes everything feel like a privilege. A perfect introduction to the island for first-timers and a reliable ritual for returning regulars.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Sandbar at Jetties Beach yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
