On the Tiburon waterfront since 1920, Sam’s Anchor Cafe is one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s most beloved and most historic waterfront restaurants and bars: a sunny outdoor deck with extraordinary views of San Francisco, Angel Island, and the Bay, cold beers, fresh seafood, and the warm, unhurried character of a bar that has been watching the Bay traffic for over a century. The outdoor deck on a sunny Tiburon afternoon is one of the great simple pleasures of the Bay Area.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Sam’s Anchor Cafe Tiburon yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
