Right across from Playa Espadilla near the Manuel Antonio National Park entrance: a beloved open-air waterfront bar and restaurant serving fresh Costa Rican seafood, fried snapper, fish tacos, and cold beers. One of the most popular daytime hangouts in Manuel Antonio, with occasional visits from local monkeys and sloths. Has been a fixture here for years and earns consistent praise for fresh food and friendly service.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Marlin Restaurant & Bar yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
