The waterfront West Seattle outpost of the beloved Marination brand (a Hawaiian-Korean fusion concept that started as a food truck and became one of Seattle’s most celebrated restaurant brands), Marination Ma Kai delivers spam musubi, kalua pork sliders, kimchi fried rice, and cold Pacific Northwest craft beers with the extraordinary Alki Beach views of Elliott Bay and the Seattle skyline. The combination of Hawaiian-Korean flavors, PNW craft beer, and one of Seattle’s best waterfront views makes this one of the most distinctive dining experiences in the city.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Marination Ma Kai Alki yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
