A tropical-themed beach bar and restaurant in Old Lyme bringing Caribbean energy and cold rum cocktails to the Connecticut shoreline. Kokomo’s delivers the island escape formula (frozen drinks, reggae vibes, fresh seafood) in a state that is not always associated with tropical beach bar energy, which makes finding it feel like the discovery it is. Cold frozen cocktails and the Long Island Sound as a backdrop.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Kokomo’s Restaurant and Beach Bar yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
