The birthplace of the Orange Crush cocktail (Ocean City and Maryland’s most beloved summer drink), Harborside Bar & Grill on the inlet at 1st Street has the original recipe and the waterfront setting that made it famous. Hand-squeezed OJ, vodka, triple sec, and a splash of 7UP over ice with a fresh orange garnish: simple, refreshing, and endlessly imitated but never quite duplicated. The inlet location puts boat traffic, waterfront views, and the rustic old-school bayside atmosphere all in one place. Come for the Crush; stay for the crabs and the view.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Harborside Bar & Grill yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
