The most popular beachfront balcony on the Galveston Seawall: directly across from Pleasure Pier with knockout Gulf views, award-winning Gulf seafood, and a happy hour that draws locals and visitors alike. Famous for the Shrimp Kisses (bacon-wrapped, jalapeño Jack stuffed), killer frozen cocktails, and a lively atmosphere that earned it OpenTable’s Best Vibrant Bar Scene for 2025.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Fish Tales yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
