Massive beachfront restaurant and bar on Jaco Beach with a dramatic open U-shaped kitchen surrounded by glass, a sprawling deck literally on the sand, and some of the best Pacific views in all of Costa Rica. Fresh seafood, killer mojitos, and a sunset that will ruin every other sunset for you. Not the cheapest place in Jaco, but an absolute must-visit.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to El Hicaco yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
