One of the original beachfront bars in Jaco since 1964, a true Costa Rican institution on the north end of Jaco Beach where locals and travelers have been cracking cold Imperials and watching Pacific sunsets for over 60 years. Live music, DJs, sports on screen, and that unmistakable Pura Vida energy that keeps people coming back night after night. If you want to understand Jaco, start here.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Clarita’s Bar & Grill yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
