A beach club in Bethany Beach (the quieter, more family-oriented of Delaware’s resort beach communities, known as the Quiet Resorts for their more relaxed and more genuinely community-focused character), the Big Chill delivers cold cocktails, fresh Delmarva seafood, and the warm, unhurried beach club energy of a Delaware coastal community that has preserved its character while offering a genuinely enjoyable beach bar experience for those who prefer their summer beach visit with a cold drink and a lower decibel level than Dewey Beach next door.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Big Chill Beach Club yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
