A Dewey Beach institution and one of the most beloved and most legendary beach bars on the Delmarva Peninsula, the Starboard has been delivering cold drinks, live music, and the wildly festive beach bar energy that has made Dewey Beach the party capital of the Delaware coast for decades. The Sunday brunch is a Delaware beach tradition; the Bloody Mary bar is legendary; and the combination of beach access, live entertainment, and the particular Dewey Beach energy that draws summer crowds from Washington DC and Baltimore every weekend makes the Starboard one of the most consistently entertaining beach bars on the entire Mid-Atlantic coast.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to The Starboard yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
