On Belmont Shore’s waterfront in Long Beach with views of the Los Angeles harbor and Catalina Island in the distance, Belmont Brewing Company is one of Southern California’s pioneering craft breweries, open since 1990, delivering fresh-brewed beers on an oceanfront patio that has been one of the best places to drink craft beer in the LA area for over three decades. The Long Beach Crude stout and Top Sail amber are the house legends.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Belmont Brewing Company yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
