A Surf City staple on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach, Baja Sharkeez delivers the full California beach bar formula: strong margaritas, cheap tacos, cold beers, and the kind of high-energy, unpretentious beach bar crowd that Huntington Beach generates in abundance. The margaritas are the reason people show up; the loud, fun atmosphere is the reason they stay; and the HB beach culture surrounding it makes the whole experience feel exactly right.

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Baja Sharkeez Huntington Beach yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
