A Put-in-Bay legend and one of the longest bars in the world: a sprawling, raucous Lake Erie island saloon that has been the centerpiece of Put-in-Bay’s legendary summer party scene for decades. Cold draft beers by the pitcher, live music, and the particular high-energy island bar atmosphere of a destination that packs decades of Midwest summer memories into every weekend from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The Beer Barrel is Put-in-Bay’s social epicenter and the reason many Ohioans make the ferry crossing every summer.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Beer Barrel Saloon yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
