Inside Crystal Cove State Park in a historic 1930s beach cottage at the base of the Newport Coast cliffs, the Beachcomber is one of the most historically charming and most dramatically situated beach bars in all of California: a genuine vintage beach cottage serving fresh coastal cuisine and cold cocktails directly on Crystal Cove’s pristine beach. The preserved 1930s beach colony setting is unique on the Southern California coast; the views and the fresh seafood make every visit memorable.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to The Beachcomber at Crystal Cove yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
