A Lake Como legend and one of the largest and most celebrated beach bars in New Jersey, Bar Anticipation has been delivering live music, cold drinks, and the sprawling outdoor bar energy that the Jersey Shore demands since the 1980s. The massive outdoor deck, the multiple bars, the live entertainment that draws major regional acts, and the warm, exuberant Shore community energy that fills every summer weekend make Bar A (as every Shore regular calls it) one of the defining beach bar experiences of the entire New Jersey coastline.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Bar Anticipation yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
