Beautiful beachfront bar just a short drive south of Jaco at stunning Playa Hermosa: great food, refreshing cocktails, and the kind of chill Pacific coast scene that the Hermosa regulars guard like a secret. Live music some nights. One of the most recommended spots by Jaco locals when they want to escape the crowds.

There are more like it in Costa Rica’s best beach bars.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Vida Hermosa Beach Bar yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
