A Sullivan’s Island-area legend and one of the most beloved live music venues on the South Carolina coast, the Windjammer on Isle of Palms has been hosting live bands on the oceanfront since 1975: a genuinely historic music venue and beach bar where national touring acts and local legends have both played to crowds dancing in the sand. Cold beers, fresh Low Country seafood, and a live music tradition that spans five decades make the Windjammer one of the great beach bar music experiences in the Southeast.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to The Windjammer yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
