The Shrimp Box has been on the Manasquan Inlet in Point Pleasant Beach long enough to be part of the scenery. It’s a waterfront patio bar and seafood restaurant where the view is the inlet traffic — boats heading out to sea and coming back in, which is genuinely entertaining if you’re drinking. The shrimp is the obvious move; the raw bar is solid. It’s not a party bar. It’s a sit-and-watch-the-water bar, which is a different and often better thing.
