A Hilton Head Island legend in South Beach Marina Village since 1987, the Salty Dog Cafe is the island’s most iconic and most-visited waterfront destination: a casual, dog-friendly outdoor bar and restaurant with cold cocktails, fresh Low Country seafood, and the warm, genuine beach community character that the Salty Dog brand has built into a beloved Hilton Head institution. The Jake the Dog logo is on T-shirts in every state; the cold cocktails and crab dip are on every Hilton Head must-do list. Come by boat; dock at the marina.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to The Salty Dog Cafe yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
