Legendary honky-tonk that helped launch Alabama (yes, *that* Alabama) and has been pouring cold drinks and rocking the Grand Strand since 1944. The Bowery’s house band The Bounty Hunters plays nightly in a rowdy, beloved dive where Southern rock, cold beer, and decades of memories flow freely.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to The Bowery yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
