We haven't made it to this bar yet, but here is what we know

There’s no dock at White Bay on Jost Van Dyke. That’s not an oversight — that’s the whole point. Since Gertie O’Neal opened this bar in the early 1970s, sailors have been dropping anchor in the bay and swimming ashore with wet cash in their pockets to pay for drinks. Hence: the Soggy Dollar. And those drinks? The bar invented the Painkiller — that legendary blend of Pusser’s Rum, pineapple juice, orange juice, cream of coconut, and freshly grated Grenadian nutmeg that has since been copied on every island in the Caribbean without ever quite being replicated. White Bay is consistently voted one of the best beaches in the world, and the Soggy Dollar is the reason most people bother to find it. Hurricane Irma wrecked it in 2017. It came back. This is what great beach bars do.
