A Cambridge waterfront staple on the Choptank River, Portside delivers straightforward Eastern Shore seafood in the direct, unpretentious style the region does best. Steamed crabs, crab cakes, soft-shells in season, and cold beer overlooking the working waterfront make this a reliable local institution. The Choptank River setting keeps Cambridge’s genuine waterman culture in view: this is the Eastern Shore before it got discovered, and Portside is where locals have been eating for as long as anyone can remember.
