Buckeye Lake has been Ohio’s summer playground since the 1800s, drawing Columbus-area families and boaters to its shores for generations; Papa Boo’s captures that warm, unpretentious lake bar energy with cold beers and the easy-going character of a bar that belongs to its lake community.

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Papa Boo’s yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
