On Kent Island in Stevensville, Libbey’s Coastal Kitchen and Cocktails brings a contemporary, quality-forward bar and dining concept to the gateway of the Eastern Shore. The cocktail program is serious, the food is thoughtfully prepared with Bay ingredients, and the whole operation positions itself as a destination rather than a stopover for the bay Bridge commuters who know Kent Island has more to offer than gas stations and traffic. A strong modern waterfront option right off Route 50.

Worth pairing with the rest of beach bars around the Chesapeake.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Libbey’s Coastal Kitchen and Cocktails yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
