On Water Island, the USVI’s smallest and least-visited main island, accessible by ferry from St. Thomas’s Crown Bay, Dinghy’s is the ultimate reward for a short boat ride: cold cocktails, fresh Caribbean food, a beautiful quiet beach, and the relaxed, genuine island character of a tiny community that has kept the cruise ship crowds at bay. The ferry from Crown Bay takes ten minutes; the feeling of escape takes immediate effect.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Dinghy’s Beach Bar & Grill yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
