A Virginia Beach oceanfront staple on Mediterranean Avenue, Chix on the Beach delivers outdoor dining with sand beneath your feet and the Atlantic as your backdrop, a reliably fun, casual restaurant where the outdoor setting, consistent coastal seafood, and live entertainment make it one of the boardwalk’s most crowd-pleasing options. She Crab Soup and the Crab Ripper are the house signatures; the breezy outdoor atmosphere makes everything taste better.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Chix on the Beach yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
