Baker’s Port Hole has been open in Beach Haven since 1936 — over 88 years, cash only, still family-run — and that’s almost the whole story. It’s a bar-slash-liquor-store on LBI that doesn’t try very hard to impress you. The regulars have been coming so long they don’t need a sign. It opens early, closes when it closes, and the drinks are cold and cheap.
