One of Negril’s best-established beach bars, Alfred’s Ocean Palace has been delivering live reggae, cold cocktails, and fresh Jamaican food on the seven-mile beach for decades, earning a loyal following of returning visitors who make Alfred’s a ritual stop whenever they are on the island. The combination of consistent live music, great jerk and seafood, and genuine staff warmth makes this one of Negril’s most loved beach institutions.

We Haven’t Been Here Yet

The Beach Bar Bum hasn’t made it to Alfred’s Ocean Palace yet. Budget cuts, tragic. But there’s water, drinks, and zero shoe policy, so it’s on the list. We just need a brave soul to confirm it’s real, preferably with a cold drink in hand.
